Virtual Town is Open!

While our physical school building is closed, the Town team is still working behind the scenes and happy to connect, and teachers will launch our distance learning model after Spring Vacation. We are currently accepting inquiries for 2021-22 and applications for 2020-21. Contact us with questions any time at

Welcoming you to the Town family.

Thank you for considering Town! We'd like to invite you and your family to get to know our school community. We want you to see for yourselves how our N-8 educational model promotes academic excellence, builds confidence and self-esteem, and inspires the trust and compassion that lead students to become strong role models.

From the parallel play of three-year-olds to the burgeoning self-awareness of 13-year-olds eager to play leadership roles at Town and in New York City, Town students experience Joy with Purpose. At Town, we believe that joy is fundamental to deep learning, so our students remain curious, seek answers to their own questions, take risks as they push the boundaries of their knowledge and abilities. Our 8th grade students approach the transition to secondary education with well-deserved self-confidence and excellent results.

Town's curriculum and community service expand the boundaries of our campus, connecting our students to our neighborhood, our city, and our world. Our families come to us from more than 50 zip codes across New York City.  Whether they are long-time New Yorkers or have recently relocated here from around the globe, our Town families are welcoming and friendly.

So, come visit us and meet our faculty and administrators, our parents, and our students. Parent (and grandparent) tours are led by our faculty and are available almost every day starting in late September. You can schedule this tour at your convenience beginning September 3rd, 2019 after you have submitted your application.

We look forward to meeting you and your family soon. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please reach out!
